Interaction Design
Right now there are approximately 8 billion people in the world. Our societies are advancing and our technology continues to infiltrate and improve the daily human experience. But what happens when our personal information, so easily and willingly put into the cloud, is a targeted source of cash flow for unethical hackers? We might want to evaluate how we protect ourselves.
Site map
This sitemap reflects the data that was collected through a card sort activity from users of how they imagine the information architecture would be structured in order to navigate the entire site.
Wireframing
While I took on the task of doing the journey map, my team sketched out wireframes with the user reports of understandability and learnability in mind.
These wireframes were created to connect the site’s IA with the visual design and placement of information. It then was used to help us create our prototype.
Prototyping
As requested by the stakeholders, our prototype was created using a design system that consisted of bright accent colors against a dark background to hopefully convey the feelings of trust and security.
I took the initiative and created the Piivately Response case study page and stretched my muscles in creating a neon glow effect to the images. The stakeholders had a vision of using 3D isometric graphic images that glowed in their final iteration so I created the glow effect to imitate that.
My team then gathered all of our prototypes and made it into an ineractive prototype which can be viewed here:
Evaluation Process
In UX, the work is never done and can always be improved so my team and I evaluated the Piivately website in front of users. Their feedback was essential in pin pointing any areas of opportunities that would help improve the Piivately website even further for future iterations.
The feedback are as follows:
Users wanted to see pricing options readily available
A demo or more thorough case study showcasing the product in action
A more visible easy-to-contact feature such as a chatbot
